The last two weeks have been rather intense - though almost always in a good way.  Even when shit has been less than stellar, it hasn’t been boring.  I suppose that’s par for the course, but throw in 1am conference calls, excessive humidity, and a night at JFK and you can see how shit starts to wear on a guy. Bright side: I’ve been twittering obsessively, which has yielded some gems, but I think the best summary comes from an email I shot off this morning:

I’ve had some interesting times there recently, but interesting in that creepy, dirty, and expensive way… which surprisingly isn’t really an entertaining way, more like a scary thing you sob over in the shower or realize that it very easily could have become one of the nastier plots of an Ellis novel.

So between Fire Island and Pride Week, things have been pretty gay for me lately.  Kinda like this song, which is amazing. I’m not sure why it never got big.

Dactylo is my favorite french DJ.  This mix is old now, but it is still killer.  Do yourself a favor and check her out.  She throws some killer parties in Paris, but unlike Fluokids, Kitsune, et al, they tend to keep things local and in French.  If you’re ever in the area, do check out one of the Furie parties.
